Changelog
What is new in the app, newest first.
October 26
- Decline a court invite. When a member invites you to their court, the email now has two buttons: Join this court and a red Decline. One tap on Decline and you are done, no second step. The host gets an email that you can't make it, so they can invite someone else. Tapped it by mistake? Tap Undo. You can still join later if a spot is open.
- Reply to the host. Reply to a court invite email and it goes straight to the member who invited you. Don't want people you invite to see your email address? Turn off Let people I invite reply to me by email in Settings.
- See who answered. Your court card on Bookings has a new Invited by email list. Each member shows Invite sent, Joined, Declined or Left the court. People you send the court link to are not on this list.
- The date, time and place in a court invite email now sit in their own box, so they are easy to spot.
October 24
- Open play is check-in only. On open play nights, tap Check in. Check-in opens at the same time as booking, and the button says when, like "Check-in opens Friday."
- Drop-ins can sign up for an open play night once it opens, the same as members.
- Clearer buttons: Undo check-in for a night you checked in to, and Leave court for a spot on someone else's court.
- Paddle Taps. The Send a Paddle Tap card on Bookings stays folded until you tap it. When folded, it shows a few faces and how many you have sent, like "3 of 8 sent." Recent nights are in one card. Switch between them with the tabs: Today, Yesterday, Tue, Oct 15.
- Member photos now show when you search for someone to invite, and in your court's player list.
- When you switch between a sign-in code and a password, the email you typed stays.
October 21
- Invite someone. One button on your court card. Pick A club member and we email them a button to take a spot, free. Pick Anyone else to send the court link by text or any app. Or tap the copy icon to copy the link right away.
- Who's coming now counts everyone: bookings, check-ins and drop-ins. Drop-ins are counted, not named.
- After you check in, the screen is simpler: Add to calendar, a box to get a reminder, and one Got it button. Undo check-in is a small link.
- Your court card shows just a calendar icon, so all its buttons fit on one row on a phone.
October 20
- Guest fee. Guests on a reserved court now pay $5 each visit, by card, when they take a spot. There is no limit on how often they come. If the host takes a guest off the court, or the court or night is cancelled, the guest gets the $5 back. A guest who leaves on their own does not. Guests already on a court before today stay free for that court.
- After paying, a guest sees "Payment received: $5. You're on the court." Before they leave a court, we remind them the fee is not refunded.
- Invite a member by email. Picking a member for your court now emails them a button to take a spot, instead of adding them without asking.
- Players on a friend's court see everyone on it in Bookings.
October 18
- Paying to drop in checks you in. Pay for an open play night and you are in. No second tap.
- Open play needs a membership or a drop-in. No membership this season? The schedule shows Pay to drop in instead of Check in. Daytime open play needs a membership that covers daytime.
October 15
- Drop in as a guest. New to the club? Open play nights on the schedule now show Drop in as guest. It is $5 a night, paid online. You can drop in 3 times, then we ask you to join the club.
- You can drop in for tonight, right up until open play ends.
- The drop-in form is now 3 short steps: night and email, about you, then waiver and pay. It shows which visit this is, like "Visit 2 of 3."
- After you pay, we tell you where to go and what to bring.
- Add to calendar for members too: right after you check in, and on every night still to come in Bookings.
- Nights that are over move into a folded Past bookings section.
October 7
- Help pages. You are reading them. There is a search box at the top, and a Docs link at the bottom of the app.
- Support. A new Support button at the bottom of the app. Ask a question, report a bug or suggest a feature.
- Add to home screen. A card on the Me tab puts the app on your phone's home screen. See Add the app to your phone.
- A new icon. The blue WPA. logo is now the app icon and the browser tab icon.

October 6
