Ways to play
Booking a spot, reserving a court, open play and guests. What each one means and which to use.
There are a few ways to play at the club. Here is how they differ.
Quick answers
| I want to… | Do this |
|---|---|
| Play on one of my level's nights | Book a spot |
| Hold a whole court for my friends and me | Reserve a court |
| Bring a friend who is not a member | Invite a guest to your court |
| Try the club before joining | Come to an open play night as a drop-in |
| Get better at the game | Look at Player Development |
Checking in
Tap Check in on a night and you are in. There is nothing else to tap when you arrive. If you cannot come, cancel from the Bookings tab so someone else can have your spot.
Regular nights
These are the club's nights for each level. Open the Schedule tab, find your night and tap Check in. Not sure of your level? It is in Me.
Reserve Courts
On some nights you can reserve a court instead of just a spot. You host it, and up to six people play on it, you included. Everyone else on the night books a spot as usual.
- You can reserve one court per night.
- The gym only has so many courts. When they are all taken, the night says so.
- You can bring friends who are not members. They pay a $5 guest fee each visit. See Inviting guests.
Open play
Open play is the easiest way to try the club. Anyone can come. People who are not members pay a small drop-in fee. Members tap Check in. Check-in and drop-ins open at the same time.
Open play is not on every night, and not at the daytime sessions.
Newcomer nights
For people who are new to pickleball.
Player Development
Sessions to help you improve. If you are interested, say so on the Bookings tab and the club will tell you when something is planned.
Guests and drop-ins
| Guest | Drop-in | |
|---|---|---|
| Who | A friend you invite to your court | Someone who comes to open play |
| How they join | Your court link | They sign up and pay on the club website |
| Cost | $5 each visit | A small fee |
| How often | As often as you invite them | 3 drop-ins, then they join the club |
Daytime sessions
Daytime sessions are for daytime members. If a night is not shown as bookable for you, it is probably for a different level or a different kind of membership.
